Residential Extension & Loft – Twickenham
UKPC Construction Ltd delivered a full residential redevelopment at a private property in Twickenham, providing an integrated design-and-build service.
We acted as Principal Designer and Principal Contractor under the CDM Regulations and undertook the structural design and calculations, ensuring full compliance with current UK Building Regulations while maintaining programme and cost control.
The works comprised a rear extension, loft conversion, and full internal refurbishment, including significant structural reconfiguration. Key elements included relocation of the ground floor staircase, replacement of the suspended floor with a new solid ground floor, and installation of structural steelwork to support the revised layouts.
Externally, the property was upgraded with insulated external wall systems finished in silicone render, improving thermal performance and durability. Internally, a complete new plumbing and electrical installation was delivered to current UK standards, providing a safe and reliable services infrastructure.
The project was delivered through a structured programme, with close coordination with Building Control and a strong focus on site organisation, neat workmanship, and quality control.
